I believe that the New Ideas of Enlightenment Movement played the most responsible part of why the the French Revolution occured. The fact that it promoted that ordinary people should be free to elect the leaders of the government. I think that they llike this idea because at the time King Louis XVI wasnt doing anything and taking lots of money from the country which led it to debt.

The three causes of the french revolution were: worsening of financial conditions of the goverment, severe economic depression in europe, and the new ideas of enlightenment.i think the worsening financle conditions led France to a revolution because Nobility kept raising taxes on the poor citizens, but they didnt even have enough money to eat, so while they starved nobles ate and drank in luxery. This would have angered the citizens and they would revolt.
