This will be an interactive learning environment for students and parents in my AP European History class. It is my hope that we can create an ongoing dialogue that is rich in intellect and takes learning beyond the four walls of my classroom.

It's pretty obvious how important the different types of governments created throughout the revolution are. I understand the revolution for the most part, but I'm having a little trouble with differentiating between all the governments. So if anyone doesn't mind, could you please explain the governments of the French Revolution? The timeline, standpoints, meanings, etc.? Thank you.
The French revolution started because of many upsets within the society, but one of the main reasons was the state of the government. The monarchy had abused the treasury and taxes which created a state of financial crisis. This created within the populace a desire of a republic, which instigated the revolts against the royals and the constitution of a monarachy itself. However, seeing as the French went about this reform the wrong, and rather savage way, they ended up with very little progress, and went full circle back to a monarchy.
How did Montesquieu and Rousseau inspire the French Revolution? Did it create an impact towards the society?
