Hitler's support came from which groups in society?
How did the Enabling Act increase Hitler's power?
Most of Hitler's support came from the lower classes, but war veterans, farmers and the young people also vouched their support. Most due to the after-effects of the Great Depression
The Enabling Act increased Hitler's power because it was the second major step where Chancellor Adolf Hitler legally obtained plenary powers and became Führer. The Act granted the Cabinet the authority to enact laws without the participation of the Reichstag for four years. This allowed Hitler to have quite an influence during the time period of the Enabling Act.
